Opus 2, a prominent litigation platform, has announced the acquisition of Bundledocs, a widely used document bundling system. This acquisition represents Opus 2's third merger and acquisition deal in recent years, following the purchase of Uncover last year.

Bundledocs, based in Ireland, serves approximately 1,900 clients across 35 countries, including over 100 of the UK's top 200 law firms. This acquisition significantly enhances Opus 2's client base and technological capabilities.

The Bundledocs platform offers cloud based, AI ready collaborative document bundling software that assists legal teams in preparing, reviewing, and securely managing complex document workflows within a connected environment. It supports the entire legal document lifecycle, integrating document preparation with review and real time collaboration.

Greg Blackman, Chief Executive Officer at Opus 2, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating that it aligns with the company's commitment to innovation and enhancing law firm operations. He noted that the collaboration will provide clients with greater advantages and efficiencies.

Brian Kenneally, Co Founder and CEO of Bundledocs, described the acquisition as a natural progression for Bundledocs, highlighting the shared understanding of the legal sector and a mutual focus on developing practical, secure software that simplifies complex legal workflows.

The timing of the acquisition reflects a strategic commitment to providing clients with tailored solutions that address real world challenges. Both companies have a history of collaboration, which facilitated the alignment that led to this deal.

Bundledocs maintains its headquarters in Cork, Ireland, with additional offices in Toronto and London. Opus 2 is headquartered in London and has a global presence with offices in various cities including Edinburgh, San Francisco, and Singapore. The acquisition increases the total number of locations to 14 worldwide, with no immediate changes planned for office locations.

Looking ahead, Opus 2 aims to continue delivering innovative solutions that advance legal practice in litigation, arbitration, and beyond. As market demands evolve, the company is committed to enhancing the value of its intelligent legal solution platform for dispute teams.
