Andrew Simon, Weil's Chief AI and Innovation Officer, discussed the firm's involvement in the project, noting that Weil not only utilises Gemini Enterprise for Legal but also contributed to the creation of various applications within the suite. Simon emphasised that more applications are expected to be developed in the future, similar to the evolution of Claude for Legal, which began with a limited set of features and has since expanded.
Simon described the Gemini Enterprise for Legal as a comprehensive platform that provides access to Google's models and the necessary infrastructure for legal professionals. The platform includes specialised skills, agents, and plugins designed to enhance productivity within the legal sector.
Weil's internal tool, BenchMark, was also highlighted during the discussion.
